WEATHERING THE STORM: COVID-19
Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 situation and in line with the government recommendations to reduce the risk for our guests, we have made the very difficult decision to temporarily close Red Rooster effective 20 March 2020 until further notice.
In light of this, regrettably, we will be cancelling your upcoming booking. Please contact reservations@thecurtain.com for more information on refunds or postponing your stay.
At Red Rooster, we pride ourselves on being a place of togetherness and now more than ever we need to keep that sentiment alive. Our promise to you is that whatever happens, we’re in this together, which means we’ll promise to do our best during this period to give you inspiring content on our social media – from Gospel Brunch throwbacks to soul food recipes, guides on how to stay sane working from home, and lots of uplifting images.
We’re also going to keep that sense of community going by updating you as much as we can on developments on our side and encourage you to share information with us too.
While we may not know what the immediate future holds, we do know that with your continued support, we’ll be just fine. For now, our message to you is to keep safe, keep positive and do as much as you can to keep connected.
We look forward to welcoming you back very soon.

HARLEM MEETS SHOREDITCH
Acclaimed New York chef and restaurateur Marcus Samuelsson bring his renowned Harlem restaurant to Shoreditch. Red Rooster Shoreditch celebrates the roots of American cuisine, channelling Southern soul food alongside the diverse culinary traditions of New York and Marcus's Northern European upbringing. Staying true to its Harlem roots, the London Red Rooster outpost features many of the same dishes as the original, along with some new ones, created especially for its new London home. What's more, we’re open until 2am for late night drinks Thursday to Saturday and there's a programme of live music every single week!
Marcus Samuelsson
"Growing up in Sweden, London always had that bright-lights-big-city appeal. It was always a dream of mine to open a restaurant in London and it’s incredible to finally see it happen. Having spent a lot of time in London over the last few years, it became clear that Shoreditch and the East end was where I wanted to be. The people that live and work here are creative, fun, and neighbourly - plus they know good food and good music which feels very Harlem."
